1. EARLY PICKUP & ENERGIZING BREAKFAST

Your adventure begins early, between 03:40 AM and 4:30 AM, with pickup from your accommodation in Cusco. We’ll travel for about 2 hours to the Cusipata community, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Andean breakfast to fuel up for the day ahead.

Upon arrival, you’ll receive a brief orientation before starting the 3-kilometer round-trip hike. As you walk, you’ll be surrounded by stunning Andean landscapes, with panoramic views of the mountains and valleys. Along the way, you’ll also get to see the unique local flora and fauna.

3:40 – 4:30 Pick up from hotel
Pick up is made directly from your accommodation as long as you stay inside Cusco Downtown or Historical Center. Make sure to be ready and waiting 10 minutes before your pick up.

4:30 – 6:30 Transfer to Cusipata for breakfast
You will travel for 2.5 hours all the way to Cusipata, here you will have a buffet breakfast that is included in your tour package.

6:30 – 7:20 Breakfast at Casa Ausangate in Cusipata
You will have 40 minutes to enjoy breakfast in Cusipata, it is important to get energy before the hike. This is a small buffet breakfast that includes vegetarian options.

7:20 – 8:50 Transfer to the parking lot to start the hike

8:50 – 10:30 Hike to Rainbow Mountain

After enjoying the mesmerizing scenery, we’ll begin our descent back to the starting point. Once we finish the hike, we will travel 2 hours back to the restaurant; a delicious lunch will be waiting for us, allowing you to recharge before heading back to Cusco.

Taste some of the local food, this is a little buffet where you can find vegetarian optiosns, too.

15:30 – 17:00 Return to Cusco and drop off in Regocijo Square
