Humantay Lake Tour

3:45 – 4:20 Pick up from hotel
Pick up is made directly from your accommodation as long as you stay inside Cusco Downtown or Historical Center. Make sure to be ready and waiting 10 minutes before your pick up.

4:30 – 6:30 Transfer to Mollepata for breakfast
You will travel for 2.5 hours all the way to Mollepata, here you will have a buffet breakfast that is included in your tour package.

6:30 – 7:00 Breakfast
You will have 40 minutes to enjoy breakfast, it is important to get energy before the hike. This is a small buffet breakfast that includes vegetarian options.

7:00 – 8:00 Transfer to Soraypampa to start the hike
After you have passed the entrance area, you will receive a brief orientation before beginning the 7-kilometer hike (round trip). Along the way, you will pass through breathtaking Andean landscapes with panoramic views of mountains and valleys.

8:00 – 10:00 Hike to Humantay Lagoon and Top
You can decide if you want to update your experience renting a Horse all the way to the top. Or if you prefer to hike, usually it takes 1,5 hours to reach the very top. From the viewpoint, we will admire the dazzling turquoise waters that contrast beautifully with the surrounding mountains. There will be plenty of time to rest, take photos, and soak in the serene atmosphere.

11:00 – 14:00 Transfer tor lunch
After enjoying the lake, we will begin our descent. Once we reach the starting point, we will travel to Mollepata, a delicious lunch will be waiting for us to recharge before heading back to Cusco.

14:00 – 15:00 Lunch
Taste some of the local food, this is a little buffet where you can find vegetarian optiosns, too.

15:00 – 17:30 Return to Cusco and drop off in Regocijo Square
Drop off is made in Cusco Downtown, notice drop off is NOT made on your accommodation.

PICK-UP TIMES

Please, notice that the weather conditions in Cusco varies along the day. It will be cold in the morning and later it could be very very warm, it could rain and it will be cold at night, again. In short words, bring layers.

Pricing
The prices published on our website and other sales channels do not include the General Sales Tax (IGV). However, foreign tourists who provide their nationality and present their passport will be exempt from this tax, in accordance with current legislation.

Passport
All travelers must carry either their physical passport, a clear photo of it, or the official identification document used to enter the country (driver’s licenses are not accepted).
