3:10 PM – Visit Huacachina, the Oasis of America
Discover a hidden oasis surrounded by towering sand dunes. Enjoy free time to explore, grab a drink, or take amazing photos. Our meeting point is in the best location—right in front of the oasis.

During this time, you may pre-order a takeaway dinner and pick it up after the buggy tour.

4:00 PM – 2-Hour Dune Buggy & Sandboarding Tour (Included)
Feel the adrenaline as we race across the dunes on an extended 2-hour dune buggy adventure. At the top of the dunes, you’ll have time to take stunning photos or use the provided handcrafted sandboard to slide down the slopes headfirst. An unforgettable desert experience!

📍 Please note: For safety reasons, all buggies are driven by a professional driver, both on private and shared tours.

6:00 PM – Sunset Picnic (Included)
The highlight of the day begins as the sun starts to set. We will take you to our secret spot in the dunes, where you can relax and enjoy a special picnic while witnessing one of the most beautiful sunsets in the Peruvian desert.

We are the only company offering this exclusive experience.

6:30 PM – End of the tour with a beautiful nighttime view of the Huacachina Oasis.

6:40 PM – Transfer back to your accommodation in Ica
All guests will be dropped off at the same location where they were picked up at the beginning of the tour.

Passport
All passengers must carry their physical passport throughout the trip. It is required for highway inspections, tax exemption, and boarding the bus. In case of an accident requiring medical attention, they will only be treated if they present their physical passport. Otherwise, they will NOT be attended to.

Safety
Before the tour begins, all travelers must attend a mandatory safety briefing and will receive a safety information brochure. For safety and operational reasons, each participant must complete and sign a safety and responsibility waiver before the tour starts.

Passport
All passengers must carry their physical passport throughout the trip. It is required for highway inspections, tax exemption, and boarding the bus. Pricing
Prices published on our website and other sales channels do not include Value Added Tax (VAT/IGV). However, foreign tourists who provide their nationality and present their passport will be exempt from this tax, in accordance with current regulations.

Children

• Children under 3 years old join the tour free of charge; however, parents are responsible for any additional expenses (entrance fees, snacks, or extra activities).
• For the dune buggy tour, children under 3 years old must travel on a private service, pay for a seat, and use a safety harness.
• Children over 3 years old will have their own seat; however, parents should be aware that dune buggies travel at high speeds due to the nature of the activity.
• Parents must sign a consent form allowing minors to participate in the dune buggy tour.

Seats
Passengers weighing more than 100 kg (220 lbs) must pay USD 10 for an additional seat. This policy applies to the Huacachina dune buggies.

Reservations and Cancellations
Reservations may be canceled up to 24 hours before the scheduled activity date for a full refund. Cancellations made after this period are not eligible for a refund. No exceptions.

Availability and Capacity
During certain times of the year, visitor numbers may increase, potentially affecting the overall experience. We strongly recommend booking in advance to secure availability.

Some public holidays may involve the temporary closure of specific tourist attractions or restricted access to certain areas. Lima Experience is not responsible for itinerary changes caused by such events.

These holidays often involve changes to tour schedules and durations: Easter Week, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Labor Day, July 28th (Peruvian Independence Day), Halloween, Christmas, and New Year’s.

Participant Physical Condition
It is the responsibility of each participant to determine whether they are in suitable physical and medical condition to take part in the booked activity. Lima Experience is not responsible for any health issues or pre-existing medical conditions that may affect participation in tours or activities.

Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is not included in the price of any tour or travel pass. Lima Experience strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance to cover any illness, injury, loss, or unforeseen circumstances that may occur during your trip.

Third-Party Operations
Please note that activities offered at the Ballestas Islands, Huacachina dune buggy tours, and Nazca Lines flights are operated by third-party providers and not by Lima Experience. Therefore, Lima Experience assumes no liability for accidents, inconveniences, delays, or any incidents that may occur during these activities.

Modifications or Cancellations Due to Force Majeure
In the event of circumstances beyond our control, such as adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, social unrest, or other unforeseen events, Lima Experience reserves the right to modify or cancel scheduled tours and activities. In such cases, customers will be informed as soon as possible and offered suitable alternatives or refunds when applicable.
