DAY 1: ARRIVAL + BEST OF LIMA TOUR
After your airport pick-up and hotel check-in, discover Lima with our exclusive Best of Lima Tour, designed by Lima Experience. Explore the city’s most iconic landmarks, visit local markets, and taste your way through 12 Peruvian snacks. End the experience with an optional Pisco Sour tasting.
(Important: This tour can be moved to Day 3 for late arrivals or those who prefer to rest.)

DAY 2: PARACAS, PISCO VINEYARD & HUACACHINA
Depart early from Lima to explore Paracas Bay and the Ballestas Islands, home to sea lions and Humboldt penguins. Visit a traditional Pisco vineyard for lunch and an optional tasting. End the day in Huacachina Oasis with a premium dune buggy and sandboarding experience, followed by a stunning desert sunset.

DAY 3: CUSCO GUIDED TOUR
Fly to Cusco with all transfers included for a seamless experience. Upon arrival, enjoy a private guided tour of the historic Inca capital and end the day with panoramic views from one of Cusco’s most iconic bars.

DAY 4: MACHU PICCHU PRIVATE TOUR
Discover one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Travel by train to Aguas Calientes and continue by bus to Machu Picchu. Enjoy a private guided tour through its temples, terraces, and breathtaking viewpoints before returning to Cusco.

DAY 5: SACRED VALLEY OR ATV EXPERIENCE
Choose how you want to explore the Sacred Valley. Visit highlights such as Maras Salt Mines, Moray, Chinchero, Ollantaytambo, or Pisac on a full-day tour, or opt for a half-day ATV adventure to Maras and Moray.

PASSPORT & BOOKING REQUIREMENTS
All travelers must hold a passport or visa valid for at least six months. A copy of each passenger’s passport is required to book tickets, transfers, and/or accommodation.

WEATHER & PACKING
Peru has diverse climates, so we recommend bringing a variety of clothing: hot and windy in the desert, cold and rainy in the mountains, and hot, humid, and rainy in the jungle.

TOUR OPERATIONS
Our shared tours operate in small groups. Private tours can be arranged upon request in advance. For all activities, please arrive at least 10 minutes early and be ready.

ALTITUDE & TRAVEL PACE
Some destinations in Peru are at high altitude and early mornings are common. We recommend adequate rest before and during your trip.

COMMUNICATION & SUPPORT
Before your trip, you will be added to a WhatsApp group with your travel party. Our team will share all updates, reminders, and itinerary details and will be available 24/7 before and during your experience.

MONEY & PAYMENTS
We recommend bringing USD or EUR for exchange in Peru. While card payments are widely accepted, they may include an additional fee of 5–6%. Cash is recommended for most daily expenses.

CONNECTIVITY
We can assist you in getting a local SIM card with unlimited data upon arrival if needed.

MACHU PICCHU LUGGAGE POLICY
For train services (Hiram Bingham, Belmond, Vistadome, Expedition), only one carry-on bag is allowed per passenger (max 5 kg / 11 lb, up to 157 linear cm).

Hotels usually allow luggage storage before check-in and after check-out. Early check-in is recommended for early or late arrivals. – For Lima, bring light clothes but keep in mind that it can be chilly; we recommend a jacket or thick sweater, it doesn’t rain often in Lima.

– For Paracas and Huacachina. Bring clothing suitable for the desert, sunglasses, and a wind jacket after sunset.

– Warm clothing is recommended for Cusco and the Sacred Valley to protect against the cold and rain. The weather changes quickly while hiking because of the altitude and don’t forget your hiking boots. It can also be very sunny; bring sunscreen.

Pricing

The prices published on our website and other sales channels do not include the General Sales Tax (IGV). However, foreign tourists who provide their nationality and present their passport will be exempt from this tax, in accordance with current legislation.

Reservations and Cancellations

Reservations may be canceled up to 24 hours before the scheduled date of the activity to receive a full refund. Cancellations made after this deadline will not be eligible for a refund. No exceptions.

Availability and Capacity

During certain times of the year, the number of visitors may increase, potentially affecting the overall experience of the activity. We recommend that customers book in advance to ensure availability.

Some holidays may involve the temporary closure of specific tourist sites or restricted access to certain areas. Lima Experience is not responsible for itinerary changes caused by such events.

These holidays often have changes in tour schedules and durations: Easter, Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, Labor Day, July 28, Halloween, Christmas and New Year.

Participant’s Physical Condition

It is each individual’s responsibility to determine whether they are inadequate physical and health condition to participate in the booked activity. Lima Experience is not liable for any health issues or pre-existing medical conditions that may affect participation in tours or activities.

Insurance

There is no travel insurance cover included in the price of a Travel Pass and Lima Experience recommends that you obtain travel insurance to cover any sickness, injury, or loss that may occur while you are travelling with us.

Third Party Operations

We inform our tourist clients that the buggy rides in Huacachina are operated by third parties other than Lima Experience. Therefore, we assume no responsibility for accidents, inconveniences, or any eventuality that may arise during these activities.

Modifications or Cancellations Due to Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond our control, such as adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, social unrest, or other unforeseen events, Lima Experience reserves the right to modify or cancel scheduled tours or activities. In such cases, customers will be informed as early as possible and offered alternatives or refunds as appropriate.
