The night before the “Paracas/Huacachina Full Day All Inclusive” Tour, I was added to a WhatsApp group chat which facilitated communication of pick up details, lunch menu, photos, etc. Very smart. For safety purposes, I like how I could be picked up at my doorstep.

Fernando was my guide for the day & he is extremely friendly, kind, knowledgeable and professional. He came fully prepared and made the day very comfortable. He is also very helpful and patient with taking photos! He facilitated communication between clients and the other service providers (lunch waitress, dune buggy operator, etc).

The day was very punctual. I like how the full schedule was available on the website and we precisely followed it. Very assuring.

Advice to others who do the same tour:
– Dress in layers. Short sleeves, long sleeves, windbreaker. In the winter (late August) it’s cool in the morning and evening. The afternoon got quite hot in Huacachina.
– Bring adequate & appropriate cash for tips throughout the day
– Bring sunglasses and a scarf or bandana to protect your nose and eyes from sand
– Wear comfortable shoes that you don’t mind getting sandy
– If you have a physical disability, consider communicating with Lima Experience to see what accommodations may be feasible.

Lima Experience chose excellent service providers. The Ballestras Islands boat tour was fun and informative. Lunch was a dream (portion, options, ambience). The dune buggy driver made sure we had a great time. The Pisco/wine tasting was informative, delicious and fun. Overall, I had a great time. I learned Peruvian cuisine, history and local charm as well as language.
