Description

Experience the Lost Canyon Trek on a full-day excursion! Your day starts with accommodation pick-up in Huacachina, between 6:30-6:45AM.

Around 8:00 AM, the tour will make a stop where you have the opportunity to purchase snacks and breakfast (please note that this cost is not included in the tour).

At 11:00 AM, you’ll visit Ocucaje Valley. This is a desert landscape, with ancient mountains (there’s evidence of having once been submerged beneath the sea). The valley offers a glimpse into Earth’s incredible history.

After the valley, around 12:00PM the trek into the Lost Canyon begins!. The trek takes roughly 1.3 hours. This trek is a light level trek, however the weather can be quite hot, making the trek tiring (we highly recommend bringing water!). Enjoy the terrain, and you’re beautiful day connecting with the nature surrounding you.

Following the trekking, our next destination is the fourth location, a local winery. Here, you have the option to join in a delightful pisco tasting experience. Please Note: Depending on the group and tour guide, the group can choose to go for lunch instead of the pisco tasting.

Once finished at at the pisco vineyard, you’ll head back to Huacachina! Scheduled return is for 16:30 PM.

This Lost Canyon Trek is considered a Light Level Trek, however it can be tiring due to the heat levels while trekking.

The Trek can be very hot, we recommend to bring a water bottle.

The success of this experience relies on teamwork, be on time for the activities through out the day.

Any cancellations or changes must be made 48 hours in advance and a 20% administration fee will apply. Cancellations or no-shows after this time will result in a 100% cancellation fee. Please keep in mind that during Peruvian holiday/vacation weeks tours might be busier than usual due to increased number in visitors. The duration and pricing of the tour may vary, this is not just with us but with all tour operators across the country.
